I am committed to my voice being the agent of change for others as well as myself.

As a cultivator of self-empowerment and social change, I develop equitable new leaders through: Mentoring young women and aspiring leaders, providing training and development to organizations, and advocating for the basic needs of underserved communities. Shanice is an agent of change in her community and the nonprofit sector, for over a decade. In 2019, Shanice founded, Bubble Gum Talks, LLC. That provides mentoring services to young women in hopes to cultivate leadership skills and self-esteem. In Addition, Bubble Gum Talks, LLC. partners with not-for-profit organizations to provide development and training consultations that will drive equitable services in our community.

She has received several recognitions for her leadership and service.

Shanice has received her Bachelors degree in Africana Studies at San Francisco State University. Two Master Degrees, Non Profit Management and Leadership (Walden U) and Counseling Psychology- Marriage and Family Therapy (Holy Names).

When not working with youth in her community, Shanice loves to dance, listen to music, and spend time with family and friends.
